Body - Rhythm - Self

For many, a stay at The Pierhouse is a quiet retreat from the pace of modern life. Whilst you are staying with us we invite you to immerse in movement, breath and nature with our resident yoga teacher Blair McIntosh. Blair is offering either bookable private sessions or a Sunday morning open-air experience on our terrace. These outdoor classes unfold against our breathtaking coastal backdrop of Loch Linnhe offering space for deep rest, reflection, and reconnection.

With over five years of international teaching experience - from working at globally renowned retreat centres in the lush stillness of Thailand and Sri Lanka, to vibrant studios in the cultural heart of Seoul, Korea - Blair brings a grounded, functional approach to yoga that is both accessible and deeply transformative. His teaching blends modern movement science, mobility, and functional breathing practices with a calm, open-hearted presence. The result is a class that feels more like a return - back to your body, your rhythm, your self.

The Sunday morning sessions will be held throughout the summer between 9-10am. £18 per person, paid directly to Blair. Pre-booking advised. As these classes are held outside they are weather dependent. These Sunday classes are an invitation to slow down, to listen, and to anchor yourself more fully into the beauty and stillness that surrounds you here. Each 60-minute class is tailored to meet you where you are, whether you’re new to yoga or are a regular practitioner.

Classes commencing 1st June 2025.

Please contact our reservations team on 01631 730302 if you would like to enquire about a private session or to book your Sunday morning space.

If you would like to reach out to Blair personally for a private session he can be found on instagram at @yogagubrath or on email [email protected]
