For over 200 years, the bustling fishing village of Oban has sat on the frontier of the West Highlands and the Islands; the place where land and sea converge. Oban Distillery is one of Scotland’s oldest licensed distilleries, and the town's sheltered harbour is perfect for two things: seafaring and whisky-making.
For this exclusive event, Chef Michael crafted an exquisite menu that celebrated Argyll’s outstanding local produce. Each course was paired with rare heritage drams from the distillery – thoughtfully selected to enhance and echo the flavours of the sea, showcasing the very best of Oban.
Michael brings a deep affinity with the sea to every plate, paying homage to the wonderful produce to be found on our doorstep by infusing each dish with passion, creativity, and a true sense of place.
