Coastal Weaving & Wine Tasting

We are delighted to introduce our first community event to be held at The Linnhe Storehouse & Cafe.

Heather Shields, a textile technician at Glasgow School of Art, is leading a session to introduce basic weaving techniques - including colour mixing and creating texture - inspired by the sea and Scotland's ever changing weather.

Perfect for beginners, each participant will leave with a small woven colour study or bookmark that they have produced on their own individual loom.

Paired with a coastal inspired wine tasting with Eva Franceschi from Corney & Barrow and light bites showcasing the very best of local Argyll coastal produce.
