Hogmanay Celebrations 2025

We have our three night Hogmanay package again this year, and we would love to celebrate the end of the old year and the beginning of the new with you here at The Pierhouse!

Commencing on Tuesday 30^th December, after settling in to your room, we invite you to a drinks and canapé reception hosted by Fiona, our General Manager; followed by an a la carte dinner in our two AA Rosette restaurant.

Your Hogmanay day might start with a leisurely breakfast and then some time to relax in front of our log burning fires with a dram or perhaps take time for a wintry walk and some fresh air.

The evening celebrations will commence with drinks at your table, followed by our very special 5-course Hogmanay menu. A full Ceilidh with live music will be provided by the Frank Reid Scottish Dance Band. The Bells will be marked by a Piper and fireworks from the end of the pier along with a glass of something to ease you into 2026.

New Year’s Day will start a little later with a brunchy breakfast and a special rescue remedy if you are suffering from a sore head; today is all about having a nice relaxing day! With a whisky tasting session in the afternoon before your a la carte dinner.

Friday is time to say goodbye after breakfast.
