Samhain: the time to celebrate the end of the harvest season. What better way of doing so than to pair food and wine – in our opinion the basic necessities of life!
A key element of our purchasing policy here at The Pierhouse is to, wherever possible, source locally. However of equal importance is to source responsibly. With this in mind we are hosting another collaboration with our wonderful wine suppliers Woodwinters to bring you the best of the wine harvest over recent
times.
Alongside Victoria from Woodwinters, Michael has created a wonderful menu with the very best from our local larder to pair with selections from our wine list.
Commencing at 6pm with welcome drinks and canapes Victoria will expertly guide you through the wine pairings throughout dinner.
Let us take you on a journey of discovery whilst celebrating a diverse range of wines - including biodynamic and hand farmed wines from exciting vineyards and producers from around the world – that have been expertly paired with delicious and indulgent complementary dishes.
