The Scotsman article on 12 October 2016 featured what they called 'five of Scotland's freshest restaurants' - all in Argyll and the Isles. The article read "Scotland is not only blessed with the best produce fresh from the sea, but also with plenty of amazing chefs who know exactly how to cook it."
Listing The Pierhouse, the article went on to say "Perhaps one of the most highly rated hotels and restaurants on this list (seriously, go check out the reviews) the Pierhouse enjoys a sterling reputation for great service and even better food."
We're delighted to appear on this list and to share the list with four other much-loved seafood restaurants: Loch Fyne Oyster Bar, Cairndow; Ninth Wave at Fionnphort on Mull, Ee-usk in Oban and Cafe Fish in Tobermory.
